Check your Chap – Sexual Health Blog

Guys! We know it's hard for you to talk about your *ahem* manhood.. but wouldn't you rather take a 3minute test than live with painful, swollen and itching privates?

In 2011 Gonorrhoea went up 25%, a huge jump in an infection that is slowly becoming antibiotic-resistant. Scarily, early stages are asymptomatic but a month or two down the line you will be  faced with burning pain, thick discharge and swollen testicles. The strains of Gonorrhoea out there are mutating and becoming harder to treat, so get checked up as soon as possible.

Chlamydia is currently the most widespread STD out there and the majority of carriers have no symptoms. The damage is done down the line when the infection gets into your bloodstream and give you pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility.

A daily mail report came out recently that claimed 70% of women admit to having unprotected casual sex on a regular basis. However, women are far more likely to get tested and receive treatment as men tend to be too embarrassed. Or Scared ( there are some weird rumors floating around about the test procedure.. which will be a swab that takes a couple of seconds or a quick blood test).
