Men’s Health & Smoking

We all know that smoking is bad for everyone. It does not matter if you are a man or a woman. However, doctors at the Midwest Urological Group have found out that men could be faced with more health issues than women.

In fact, this goes double for African American men. Actually, there are so many more health problems that can affect men when smoking that doctors are trying to make smoking awareness as high as prostate cancer awareness. All men know that their prostate is something that they have to take care of, and now they need to know how many problems they can have from smoking.

First off, all men should note that pretty much all the health problems that women can get from smoking, they can get too. This includes the basics like lung cancer, mouth cancer, and so on. What most men do not know is the fact that not only they can get these health problems, but their chances of getting them are higher than women.

The next thing that men need to remember is that there are a lot of other health problems that only affect men. Also, there are a number of things that can affect women, but mostly only affect men. For example, doctors have now linked smoking with erectile dysfunction.

This is a problem that women can not have. Not only that but bladder cancer is now associated with smoking as well. Although this can affect both sexes, it is something that seems to affect men a lot more. So it’s a good idea to think twice before you choose to pick up your next cigarette.
