How to Look Good in The Sun

Summer has always been one of the best seasons especially since it means it’s time to don that cute bikini and strut your stuff on the shores of your favourite beach. However before you go frolicking in the sand, here are a few simple steps to look your best under the sun’s scorching rays.

ALWAYS put on sunscreen, preferably with an SPF count of 30 or higher, before you go out in the sun. Don’t scrimp on the amount of sun block that you use and you have to apply on all parts of your body to protect them evenly. Also remember to wait for at least 15 minutes for the sunscreen to sink into your skin before you take a dip in the water.

Sunglasses are not just for fashion purposes, they also keep your eyes safe from the sun’s glare plus you won’t always have to squint and look all weird.

A scarf or a hat can protect your hair and your scalp from getting damaged. Not only will you look good, you’ll also keep your hair from getting all dried up due to loss of moisture.

Lastly, if you can manage to enjoy the beach at around 5 in the afternoon then do so. The sun’s harmful UV rays are very dangerous from 10 am to 4 pm, and going out during these times may cause extreme skin burns or worse, skin cancer.
